Description
The Freezer Hinged Door with Sweeper Gasket is engineered for reliable insulation and durability in demanding cold storage environments operating at temperatures as low as -20°C. Constructed with an 80 mm or 100 mm (upon request) high-density, CFC-free polystyrene foam core and coated with 1.5 mm solid PVC in RAL 9002, it provides maximum resistance to mechanical stresses while ensuring excellent thermal performance.
Equipped with a thermal break PVC frame (110 mm width / 45 mm depth), the door minimizes heat bridges and offers high impact resistance. A heated aluminum threshold with an integrated power cable prevents frost accumulation on the gasket, while the double-extrusion EPDM perimeter gasket, with embedded heating resistors, ensures airtight sealing and long-term reliability. The thermally insensitive PVC sweeper gasket further enhances performance in low-temperature environments. Also available with plinth block upon request.
Designed for heavy-duty use, the hinges support up to 80 kg with two hinges and 120 kg with three, with full adjustability and a self-closing mechanism. The door also includes integrated heating resistors within the blade and frame for consistent defrosting, making it ideal for freezer chambers. Optional features such as a panic lock with internal release and round porthole can be added upon request.
With maximum available dimensions of 1400 x 2050 mm and compatibility with cold room panel thicknesses from 80 mm to 140 mm, this hinged freezer door combines safety, efficiency, and durability.
